Welcome to Code Enforcement
The Code Enforcement staff is made up of six building inspectors, two
Community Service Officers, and one Code Enforcement Officer.
Building Inspectors
Building Inspectors are part of the Building
& Inspection Division who deal with construction that
need permits, garage conversions, fences, zoning issues, etc.
Community Service Officers
Community Service Officers (CSO), as part of the Police Department,
work with the Building and Inspection Division on a two year
detail. CSO’S generally enforce non-building codes,
which are violations outside the building. Building
Inspectors generally enforce codes within the building,
however, duties frequently overlap. More specifically, Code
