Complete Streets
In support of multi-modal transportation initiatives, Redwood City embraces the "Complete Streets" philosophy, to ensure that all city-owned and regional transporation systems are designed and operated to enable safe, attractive, comfortable, and independent access and travel for pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, and transit users of all ages and abilities. Complete Streets and multi-modal transportation are key components of the City's long-term planning, as highlighted in the Circulation Element of the draft New General Plan.
