Sounds of the Shores July 22 • Dance Music From Everywhere The Internationals The Internationals specialize in Euorpean music. They have been together for over 30 years and play music from Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Mexico, Holland, and many other countries, thus the name The Internationals. Accordion player, Robert Maggiora is from Italy, and horn player Jan Meere is from Holland. Steve Mc Ginnis, bass player, is Swedish, German and drummer Portor Goltz is from Eastern Europe. The band plays all of the old traditional waltzes and polkas as well as the new hits from the current Oktoberfest in Munich Germany with a little Tex/Mex, rock & roll and old swing numbers from the 40's thru the 60's mixed in. The Internationals have performed all over the United States from Texas to New York to Peoria Illinois and New Mexico.
